南北方向有通达的官道，
东西方向却被杂乱的山峦阻隔。
这条小径上从无车辙的痕迹，
只有雨后苔藓留下的斑驳。
世间的道路同样崎岖不平，
人心也都一般险恶艰难。
应尽快从平坦易行之处离去，
何必苦苦挣扎于险阻之间。

North and south, the official road runs through,
East and west, chaotic mountains bar the view.
No wheel tracks ever mark this narrow way,
Only moss stains left by the rain's display.
The world's path is as slanted and askew,
Human hearts share the same treacherous hue.
Better to take the level, easy route,
Than suffer in peril, beyond dispute.
