天气寒冷，云层凝聚不散，
道路茫茫，依然模糊难辨。
乌雀饱食后栖息在屋檐，
苍鹰饥饿地啄食着泥土。
乐于耕种的是莘国农夫之妻，
恭敬送饭的是冀州男子之妇。
山色碧绿高达千仞，
我愿与君子一同攀登。

The cold sky holds the clouds, they will not scatter,
Vast and dim, the road remains obscure.
Crows and sparrows, sated, perch upon the roofs,
While the gaunt hawk hungrily pecks at the mud.
Content to till the soil was the wife of Shen's farmer,
Reverent in bringing meals was the wife of Ji's man.
The mountain hues are a thousand fathoms of jade green,
I long to climb them together with you, noble sir.
