是露复是电，非铃亦非风。

shì lù fù shì diàn， fēi líng yì fēi fēng。

ㄕˋ ㄌㄨˋ ㄈㄨˋ ㄕˋ ㄉㄧㄢˋ，ㄈㄟㄌㄧㄥˊ ㄧˋ ㄈㄟㄈㄥ。

应作如是解，无为彼所蒙。

yīng zuò rú shì jiě， wú wéi bǐ suǒ méng。

ㄧㄥㄗㄨㄛˋ ㄖㄨˊ ㄕˋ ㄐㄧㄝˇ，ㄨˊ ㄨㄟˊ ㄅㄧˇ ㄙㄨㄛˇ ㄇㄥˊ。

世累不见累，真空亦非空。

shì lèi bú jiàn lèi， zhēn kōng yì fēi kōng。

欲知如是意，不在内外中。

既是露水也是闪电，不是铃铎也不是风。

应当作这样的理解，不要被那些所蒙蔽。

世间的牵累不被视为牵累，真正的空也并非空无。

想要知晓这样的意旨，它不在内也不在外。

It is dew, and also lightning; not a bell, nor the wind.

One should understand it thus, and not be deluded by those.

The burdens of the world are not seen as burdens; true emptiness is also not emptiness.
