我也喜爱这向日葵。
它能随着朝阳的方向倾斜，
不会因为秋露而枯萎。
在厨房中谨慎烹调，
姑且用来侍奉母亲，表达慈孝。
拔取它的根来获取廉洁的名声，
面对鲁公仪也不感到惭愧。

The ancients gathered ferns and herbs with care,
And I too love this sunflower, bright and fair.
It turns to face the morning sun's warm light,
Nor wilts beneath the autumn dew's cold bite.
In the kitchen, mindful, I prepare its fare,
To serve my mother, showing love and grace there.
Uprooting it for a name of honesty,
I feel no shame before Lord Gongyi's face.
