似觉山桃野杏非，耻将浓绿眩群姿。

sì jué shān táo yě xìng fēi， chǐ jiāng nóng lǜ xuàn qún zī。

ㄙˋ ㄐㄩㄝˊ ㄕㄢㄊㄠˊ ㄧㄝˇ ㄒㄧㄥˋ ㄈㄟ，ㄔˇ ㄐㄧㄤㄋㄨㄥˊ ㄌㄩˋ ㄒㄩㄢˋ ㄑㄩㄣˊ ㄗ。

向天乞入秋风队，兰菊中间入片时。

xiàng tiān qǐ rù qiū fēng duì， lán jú zhōng jiān rù piàn shí。

ㄒㄧㄤˋ ㄊㄧㄢㄑㄧˇ ㄖㄨˋ ㄑㄧㄡㄈㄥㄉㄨㄟˋ，ㄌㄢˊ ㄐㄩˊ ㄓㄨㄥㄐㄧㄢㄖㄨˋ ㄆㄧㄢˋ ㄕˊ。

总觉得山桃和野杏并非真正的春色，

羞于用浓艳的绿色在百花中炫耀姿容。

向苍天请求加入秋风的队伍，

在兰花与菊花之间短暂停留片刻。

It seems the mountain peach and wild apricot are not the true spring.

Ashamed to dazzle the crowd with their dense, gaudy green.

I beg the heavens to let me join the autumn wind's brigade,

And stand among the orchids and chrysanthemums, if just for a moment's stay.

本诗为七言绝句，押平声韵。

潘牥（1204—1246），南宋后期文人，福州人。理宗端平二年（1235年）进士及第，历任太学正、潭州通判等职。其文学活动主要活跃于南宋中后期，以诗词创作闻名，尤擅咏物写景，风格清丽，是江湖诗派的重要成员之一，在当时文坛有一定声名。
