紫色的屏风徒然独自老去，
翠鸟羽毛装饰的被子怎能将他招回？
想要到苍梧去倾诉愁肠，
愁绪迷蒙，澧浦又遥远难及。
哀猿啼叫使白昼也变得晦暗，
悲鸣的杜鹃声中百花都已凋零。
红色的崖壁上刻着丹砂书写的板文，
玉钩和翡翠鸟羽制成的头饰光彩夺目。
如何才能采摘到那芬芳的杜若，
在这江上独自一人，心中空虚无依？

The fragrant thoroughwort harbors the grievance of the exiled Qu Yuan,
The secluded orchids echo the folk songs of the Chu land.
The purple screen ages in vain, alone and forlorn,
How could the kingfisher-feathered quilt ever summon him back?
I wish to pour out my sorrows at Cangwu,
But grief bewilders me, and the Feng River is far away.
The mournful gibbons wail, plunging the day into gloom,
The sad cuckoo cries as all fragrant blossoms wither.
Red cliffs are inscribed with cinnabar tablets,
Jade hooks and kingfisher plumes adorn the hair.
How can I pluck the fragrant du plant,
And stand alone on the riverbank, consumed by endless melancholy?
