衔着泥土混合着草梗，
侧着翅膀飞过柴门。

迎着人飞近，几乎要拂到人的衣裳。

The spring sacrifice just ended days ago,
Today the swallows come flying back anew.
They'll mend the gaps in nests of yesteryear,
Not minding to return to my poor dwelling here.
They carry mud and straw stems in their beaks,

That flutter near one's robe in fearful state.
