白话文翻译
日边云层黕黕发黑，
断断续续如同破碎的河滩。
忽然舒展开金翠色的尾羽，
才认出那是秦地弄玉的鸾鸟。
又变幻成相连的牛形，
缀着烽燧，让人想起齐将田单的火牛阵。
等到天色全黑便密集不再喧嚣，
高耸如城墙尚未被挖开。
风吹过，云彩消散空无一物，
我依然立在船头凝望。

Dark, dark, the sunlit clouds at daylight's rim,
Broken and patchy like a shattered brim.
Suddenly spread a golden, emerald tail—
Then I know it's the phoenix of Qin's tale.
Then changed again to oxen, linked in train,
With torches strung, recalling Qi's campaign.
They wait for darkness, dense and hushed and deep,
Like towering walls, unbreached, in steadfast keep.
The wind blows, leaving nothing to be seen,
Yet still I stand at prow and watch the scene.
