它的踪迹迷失在尘土之中，
身披粗布衣，眷恋着蓬蒿草丛。
有谁能将狡兔困在洞穴里穷追到底？
中书舍人却惋惜拔取兔毫制笔。
狩猎时它从原野上逃脱，
那灵巧的身影向月亮边奔逃。
兔死狗烹，功成身退可作为戒鉴，
良弓也应当自己收进弓袋，以保平安。

In coarse clothes, he loves the wild thyme.
Who can corner the cunning in its lair?
The scribe regrets plucking the hare's fine hair.
He escapes the hunt on the open plain,
His spirit flees to the moon's domain.

The fine bow should in its own case lie, for goodness' sake.
