时俗之人喜爱芬芳鲜艳，
不妨让杜鹃鸟鸣叫。
将来从都城归来时，
难道会不明白这始终如一的计虑吗？

Plant flowers to invite the youthful spring,
Plant cypress to await the year's late prime.
Thus I know, before wind and dew's sting,
The force of frost and snow is read in time.
The vulgar love the fragrant, blooming thing,
No harm if the cuckoo sings its chime.
In future years, returning to the capital's ring,
Would I obscure the plan from start to end's line?
