秋天的河水漫过了长长的堤岸，
郊野平原上下都笼罩在迷蒙之中。
孤寂的城门紧闭，木板修筑的城墙高耸，
高大的树木上可以看见鸟儿筑巢栖息。
耳朵早已厌烦了青蛙极致的鸣叫，
水泡随着雨点均匀地泛起。
沙洲之间，牛的身影模糊难辨，
又有谁能为我扫开这阴沉的云霓呢？

Autumn waters overflow the long dike,
The fields and plains, above and below, are lost in haze.
The lonely town is shut, its wooden walls built high,
Tall trees reveal their nests where birds in shelter stay.
My ears are weary to the extreme of frogs' croaks,
Bubbles rise as raindrops fall in even pace.
Amid the islets, cattle blur, indistinguishable,
Who will sweep away the gloomy, lingering mist?
