竹园隔绝了尘世的喧嚣纷扰，
闲暇时我身着素绢长裙来到。
栏杆边生发出宁静的意趣，
水底下映照出微云的缥缈。
斜阳返照，晴空的景色更加明丽，
幽香袭来，仿佛淡淡的熏香气息。
阁楼的主人写下许多诗赋吟咏，
其才华不逊于当年的沈约先生。

The bamboo garden keeps the worldly clamor away;
In leisure, I come dressed in a robe of plain array.
By the railings, a sense of stillness begins to grow;
Beneath the water, faint clouds drift to and fro.
The slanting sunlight turns the clearing scene more bright;
A subtle fragrance wafts from blossoms, pure and light.
The master of this place composes many a song,
No less than Shen Yue, whose fame has lasted long.
