游客疲倦想要躺下休息，
道人话语不多文采斐然。
他只说秦朝的学士，
曾在这里遇见过茅君。

Outside the gate, a thousand bamboos stand,
Two paths divide atop the cliff's high crest.
The rushing stream shatters the moon's reflection,
Tall trees impede the journeying clouds' quest.
The weary traveler longs to rest,
The Taoist master speaks with words few.
He only says: 'The Qin scholar once,
Here met with Master Mao, it's true.'
