春风追随着长江的流水，
一天之内就能行经万里之遥。
它从萧瑟的岷山兴起，
又倏忽间渡过了扬子江。
江南有无数座酒楼，
春风正吹拂在楼阁的上头。
金樽在翠绿的帷帐下开启，
青色的帘幕吹动着旅客的愁绪。
长长的堤岸在二月里变得温暖，
寒冷的溪水却千古长流不息。
纷纷飘落的桃花与李花，
处处都绽放着芬芳与华美。
看不见画梁间的燕子，
只能徒然为那王、谢世家感到悲哀。

The spring wind follows the Long River's flow,
Journeying ten thousand miles in a single day.
It rises bleak from the Min Mountain's brow,
Then swiftly crosses the Yangzi's wide bay.
South of the river, a thousand taverns stand tall,
The spring wind sweeps over their upper floors.
Golden cups gleam 'neath emerald canopies' thrall,
Green curtains flutter with travelers' lonesome roars.
The long dyke is warmed by the second moon's grace,
While cold streams have flowed for a thousand years.
Peach and plum blossoms fall in a hurried race,
Everywhere they weave fragrant, fleeting spheres.
No swallows are seen between the painted beams,
In vain, I mourn the Wang and Xie families' dreams.
