此身自嘲，想要去往何方？
闭门种菜，英雄渐渐老去；
弹着剑柄思念鱼（喻求仕），富贵来得太迟。
活着时打算追随李广隐居山中；
死后应当把坟墓修在要离附近。
勉强醉饮一杯于南楼月光下；
感慨长吟，唯恐过于悲伤。

The yellow swan flies and cries, yet cannot escape hunger's plight;
This body of mine, I laugh, where does it wish to go?
Shut behind doors planting vegetables, a hero grows old in sight;
Plucking my sword hilt, thinking of fish, wealth and honor come slow.
In life, I planned to enter mountains with Li Guang as my guide;
In death, I'd have my grave dug near Yao Li, by his side.
A cup of wine forced to drunkenness under the South Tower's moon,
With deep emotion I chant long, fearing grief may come too soon.
