残存的菊花陪伴着年老之人。
酒已喝尽，酒瓶空着肚腹，
炉火冰冷，客人蜷曲着身子。
老夫我却特别能耐得住世事，
淡然一笑，便自行找回春天的暖意。

Mist and wind touch the seaside strand.
A lone swan grieves for the far-roaming guest,
Withered chrysanthemums keep company with an aged man.
The wine jar, emptied, bears a hollow belly,
The cold stove forces the visitor to curl his frame.
Yet this old man withstands affairs remarkably well,
With a single smile, he brings back spring on his own.
