世事变故纷杂难以预料，
岁月流逝浩渺无法论量。

穿着粗布短衣，醉倒在江边的村庄。

I recall the days of my westward journey long ago,
When Min and E's splendid sights were abundant in their flow.
I inscribed poems at the ancient cypress shrine,
And carried wine to feast in crabapple gardens fine.
The world's affairs, tangled and hard to foresee,
The passage of time, vast and beyond decree.
What gladdens me is that my body remains hale,
In coarse cloth, drunk in a riverside village, without fail.
