楼兰勋业竟悠悠，聊作人间汗漫游。

lóu lán xūn yè jìng yōu yōu， liáo zuò rén jiān hàn màn yóu。

征讨楼兰的功业终究已遥远消逝，

姑且在人间作一番漫无目的的遨游。

山谷半腰云雾霞光缭绕，炼丹的炉灶火候已足，

满天雷雨交加，剑池的景色已染上秋意。

在药材市场徘徊，一连数日沉醉其间，

探访巢居的仙人，逗留了几个晚上。

然而，经过旧日的居所时，我应当发出一声叹息，

因为岸边还系着当年采菱用的小船。

The grand deeds of Loulan have faded into the distant past,

I merely wander aimlessly through this mortal world.

Clouds and rosy mists fill half the valley, the alchemist's furnace is ripe,

A sky full of thunder and rain, the Sword Pond turns autumn-cool.

I linger in the herb market, drunk for days on end,

I visit the cave-dwelling immortal, staying for several nights.

Yet, passing by my old cottage, I should heave a sigh,

For by the bank, the boat for gathering water chestnuts is still tied.
