寂寂房栊鸟雀声，熏笼茶灶正施行。

jì jì fáng lóng niǎo què shēng， xūn lóng chá zào zhèng shī xíng。

房栊寂静，只闻鸟雀鸣叫声；

熏笼与茶灶正摆放停当，准备使用。

繁花开满枝头，春天才过一半；

斜阳穿透云层，骤雨初晴。

引人入睡的书还横在架子上，

围棋的客人已散，只剩空棋盘。

莫要说我病中情怀感伤于幽静孤独，

我正手持小酒壶，自斟芳醇的美酒。

Silent are the rooms, save for the chirps of birds and sparrows;

The incense burner and tea stove are ready for use.

Lush flowers fill the trees, spring is but half gone;

The slanting sun pierces the clouds, the rain just cleared.

The book that lulls me to sleep still lies across the shelf,

The weiqi game is over, guests gone, leaving an empty board.

Do not say my sick heart grieves over solitude and gloom,

With a small flask of fine wine, I pour myself a cup.
