抛开世俗杂务，我寻得一份闲适，
开垦经营，终于拥有了这座小园。
泥土疏松，花儿生机勃勃地绽放，
林木温暖，鸟儿的鸣叫声声不断。
清晨的饭食简单，只有一碗乳酪，
夜晚的酒杯中，佐以腌制的芹菜。
请不要问我还有多少余年可度，
我将在这孤寂的村庄里养老送终。

Leaving worldly affairs behind, I find my ease,
I've cultivated and now possess this little garden.
The soil is loose, the flowers bloom with vibrant will,
The woods are warm, the birds' songs multiply and thrill.
Morning meals are simple, just a bowl of curds to please,
Evening cups are graced with pickled celery's zest.
Do not ask of the years that to me yet remain;
To this lone village I'll retire, and there remain.
