姑且带上几勺米饭，
就去乞讨半盂腌菜佐餐。
心境浩荡，漫步于辽阔的原野，
路途崎岖，跋涉过幽深的山涧溪流。
闲适地游历难道不好吗？
只是我这客居之人的心意，自然感到凄楚悲凉。

And return with the birds and sparrows to their nest.
I just take a few spoonfuls of rice in my hand,

Vast and boundless, I roam across the open plain;

Is carefree wandering not a pleasure, after all?
