江边上矗立着甘泉寺，
登临其上，可以独揽一州的风景。
山中的亭子幸好完好无损，
我这老头子得以重新来此游览。
滩流湍急，常常让人怀疑是下雨的声音，
树林幽深，仿佛想要借来秋日的凉意。
归途的景色更加清幽绝妙，
我倚着手杖，呼唤江上的渔舟。

On the river stands Sweet Spring Temple, famed and high,
Ascending it, one commands a view of the whole land nearby.
The mountain pavilion, joyfully, remains unharmed and sound,
This old man gets the chance to tread again this hallowed ground.
The rapids rush so swift, one oft suspects a sudden rain,
The woods so deep, they seem to borrow autumn's cool domain.
The journey back is even more serene, a purer scene,
Leaning on my staff, I hail a fishing boat to intervene.
