三家挂着青色酒旗的店铺形成一个小集市，
十里山冈覆盖着黄色的茅草。
蓬草在浩荡的风中飞舞，
尘土扬起，日光一片苍茫。
驰骋的多是追逐野兽的猎人，
用锄耰开垦荒地的人却很少。
行路的人互相指示着说，
这条路是通往襄阳的。

Ten miles of yellow thatch cover the ridge and all.
Thistledown flies on the wind, vast and unrestrained,
Dust rises as the sun blurs, boundless and unfeigned.
Galloping hunters chase beasts, a common sight,
Few plows break new ground, toiling with all their might.
Travelers point the way to each other, saying,
This road leads to Xiangyang, where you are going.
