Lofty and alone, he presides as master.
The doctrines of other schools all fall away;
This elder's words now begin to hold sway.
Like Zhao's jade, worth many cities in a row,
Or Sui's pearl, lighting the carriage with its glow.
Though barely able to glimpse the outline grand,
It is enough to comfort my life's span.
