我在青城山构筑了云中的巢穴，

在白日里直上青天。
招呼那位瞳仁方正的仙翁，
偶遇了手指如鸟爪的仙人。
清晨吟咏阴阳变化的歌谣，
傍晚诵读道德经的篇章。
玉童手持碧玉简册，
笙声鹤舞翩翩而来。
在海边的武夷山，
我稍作停留，欣赏这宿世的缘分。
人间烟火并非我的乐趣，
常穿着巾褐衣衫，自在超脱。
清平时代却难免要出世，
略微平息了世俗的传言。
前行吧，秋风吹得正高，
去采摘那玉井中的莲花。

I built a cloud-nest in the Blue City's height,
Intending to reside there for three thousand years.
Riding the wind, I chanced to journey south one night,
And found my perch amidst purple mists for myriad miles.
In emerald fur and jade-green staff, I took my flight,
And soared past the blue sky beneath the sun's bright smiles.
I hailed the sage whose pupils shone with ageless light,
And met by chance the immortal with claws like a bird's.
At dawn, I chant the song of Yin and Yang's great might,
At dusk, I recite the classic of the Way and Word.
A jade lad brings a tablet of verdant hue so bright,
While fluting cranes descend in dances, lightly stirred.
By the sea, near Mount Wuyi, I paused in my quest,
To linger briefly, savoring this karmic rest.
The food of common fire holds no delight for me,
In simple robe and cap, I'm ever wild and free.
Yet in this age of peace, I cannot stay unseen,
And somewhat curb the tales the worldly folk convene.
Now, on I go as autumn winds rise high and keen,
To pluck the lotus from the Jade Well's depth serene.
