To learn the Way, not many tasks are needed;
Dispel the dark, subdue the demons' greed.
Spring thunder startles hibernating doors;
Sea sun bathes in the waves where whales feed.
Great courage reaps a comprehensive win;
The numinous mind imbibes supreme peace within.
Why not, then, in Kuaiji's marketplace,
Fetch wine alone and sing in drunken grace?
