在这清明的时代，被赐予一个闲散小官的官职，
头衔上的每一个字都像冰一样清冷高洁。
读书自有滋味，姑且让我忘却渐渐老去，
俸禄虽然不多，也足以代替亲自耕种田地。
笠泽的莼菜和鲈鱼正当秋日将晚，
缑山的笙声与鹤影伴着微明的月色。
人间的乐事如今我真切地得到了，
切莫怨恨身体衰颓、白发已生。

Each word of my rank stands pure and clear, rivaling ice in its chill air.
Finding flavor in books, I forget for a while the creeping years,
Though my official salary is meager, it still replaces tilling the fields with peers.

At Mount Goushan, with flute and crane, the moon sheds a faint, ethereal light.
