桑树下，送来的饭食被乌鸦抢夺而去。
趁着时机、钻着空子，还自以为有才能，
但苟且得来的东西，未必就是你的福气。
在蓬蒿野草间忍饥挨饿固然也艰难，
但总比稍近些遭受弹弓射击的羞辱要好。
老农停下农具，为你感到悲哀，
他怎会相信江湖之中还有鸿鹄高飞呢？

Beneath the mulberry tree, crows snatch the meal brought for toil.
Seizing the chance, they deem themselves clever and fain,
But gains ill-gotten may not on your fortune smile.
To endure hunger in the weeds is hard, I know,
Yet better than to face the slingshot's humbling blow.
The old farmer lays down his plow, sad for your plight,
Who'd believe in rivers and lakes swans take their flight?
