西山砍柴的小路被层层云雾隔断，
溪水在微风吹拂下泛起细密的波纹。
暑热消退，忽然惊觉秋天已渐渐深了，
夜晚变长，已经与白昼等分。
用茭白做饭，全家人都很高兴，
从邻近的屋舍传来捣衣声，催促着寒意的到来。
新做了个灯笼，学着僧人的样式，
与儿子一同鞭策，争取读书的功勋。
