甘愿做一个老迈的樊迟。

The book on planting trees I read again and again,
The art of common folk I often try to ken.
I sought the day when bamboos are drunk with rain,
And asked the time when willows sleep in their domain.
The loquat, after all, is not a citrus true,
The palm-leaf fan is not a sunflower's hue.
Thus I discern the names and things with care,
Content to be an old Fan Chi, humble and aware.
