农舍的生活虽说艰苦，
君王的恩德怎能遗忘？
蚕茧稠密，初次结满了蚕簇，
麦子成熟，已经收打登场。
通向村庄的道路在远方依稀显现，
修筑野塘的夯土声登登作响。
只须要应时的雨水充足，
（我们）就能击壤而歌，咏唱太平时光。

How could the sovereign's grace be forgot?
Silkworm cocoons first densely fill the frames,
Ripe wheat already lies upon the threshing floor.
The village paths stretch far into the haze,
Thudding sounds rise from ponds built in the wilds.
If only seasonal rains are ample,
We'll beat the earth and sing of prosperous times.
