我远行万里去寻求仙药，
立下誓言，历经三生也要抛弃官位。
傍晚时，我投宿在鹤巢中暂住，
清晨，又用松子炒面来延续早餐。
炉火催进，金丹已经炼成，
凌风而上，玉宇高处一片清寒。
人间的日月流逝得如此迅疾，
一年的历法又将走到尽头。

I journeyed far and wide to seek the elixir of life,
And vowed through three existences to renounce official strife.
At dusk, I lodge within a crane's nest, a transient home I keep,
At dawn, I dine on pine nut meal, a simple fare, not deep.
The cinnabar elixir matures when the furnace fire is fed,
The jade palace chills as I ascend, where lofty winds are spread.
How swiftly pass the sun and moon in the mortal world below,
The yearly calendar again approaches its end, I know.
