你抱着书本进入家塾，从你还是孩童时就开始。
如今年老，幸好那些（关于灾祸的）预言没有应验，若还为死亡悲伤，是多幺愚昧啊！

The Six Classics, transmitted by the sages, are revered through the ages as the ultimate oracle.
Their earnest teachings are laid out in books, not a single word deceives you.
You carried these books into the family school, from the time you were a child.
Now in old age, I'm glad their warnings proved untrue—how foolish, then, to grieve over death!
