梅子青青苦未黄，经旬积雨欲颓墙。

méi zǐ qīng qīng kǔ wèi huáng， jīng xún jī yǔ yù tuí qiáng。

白话文翻译

梅子还青青的，没有变黄，

连绵十天的积雨，快要使墙壁倒塌了。

蠹虫在书卷里滋生，时常需要烘烤驱除，

湿气侵入衣箱，只剩下一点残存的香气。

与邻居相遇，都为长久的隔绝而惊讶，

整夜无法入睡，听着那滂沱的雨声。

我肯定又要被韩公取笑了——

这些长着两条长腿、聒噪不休的青蛙，到底有什么用呢？

The plums are still green, not yet turning yellow,

For ten days, the ceaseless rain threatens to crumble the wall.

Moths breed in the books, demanding fire to be quelled,

Dampness seeps into the clothes chest, leaving only a lingering scent.

Meeting neighbors, we startle at the long separation,

All night sleepless, I listen to the pouring rain.

Surely, I'll draw another laugh from Master Han—

What's the use of these croaking frogs with their long, long legs?
