白发稀疏,我已在蜀地关塞衰老;
人的一生就像骏马闪过缝隙般短暂;
美好光景多半消磨在酒杯之中;
White hair, sparse and wild, I've aged by the Shu frontier;
Tired of flight, it's laughable I don't know to turn back.
A man's life is but like a colt flashing past a crack;
Worldly affairs—don't startle as thunder splits the hill.
Half of time's fine scenes dissolve within the wine cup's thrill;
Heroes might hide among gamblers, their spirits at will.
What joy is there in a carriage with curtains drawn tight?
With books and sword adrift, I'm not tired of leisure's light.
