船只行进，水滨与岸上空旷寂寥。
桥上的灯光在水面摇曳着倒影；
楼阁的檐角将天风四散吹拂。
我向野外眺望，目光越过飞扬的尘埃；
在清冷的翠色之中，传来渔人的歌声。
不必嘲笑我病弱的翅膀；
重要的是要挣脱这牢笼，获得自由。

Magpies descend, the plains and streams turn black;
A boat sails on, the creek and shore lie bare.
Lamp-lit bridge shadows tremble on the water's back;
From tower corners, sky-winds scatter through the air.
My gaze flies past the dust that drifts beyond the wild;
Amidst the chilly green, a fisherman's song is heard.
No need to mock these sickly wings, so weak and mild—
The point is to escape the cage, to be a free bird.
