随着官府的文书辗转人间，我的鬓发已渐稀疏；
不如归去耕种，姑且修补我东边的田角。
用地上脚碓新舂的米在甑中炊煮；
衣衫拆补，用的是旧日绣有天吴海神的图样。
有了菜园，便免去官府送菜的烦扰；
听到敲门声，反而欣喜是吏员前来征收田租。
我不愁没有来客请教文字学问；
只缺像扬雄宅院那样的一区田地。

Following official posts, my temples grow sparse in the mortal world;
I'll return to farming and mend the corner of my eastern field.
The steamer cooks rice newly pounded by the foot-pestle on the ground;
My clothes are patched with old embroidered patterns of the sea god.
With a garden, I'm spared the trouble of official vegetable deliveries;
Knocking at my door, I'm pleased instead when the tax collector comes for rent.
I don't worry about lacking guests who come to ask about characters;
I only lack a plot of land like Yang Xiong's dwelling.
