曾从征西十万师，白头回顾只成悲。

céng cóng zhēng xī shí wàn shī， bái tóu huí gù zhǐ chéng bēi。

云深骆谷传烽处，雪密嶓山校猎时。

yún shēn luò gǔ chuán fēng chù， xuě mì bō shān jiào liè shí。

我曾跟随征讨西部的十万大军，

如今白发回首，只感到一片悲凉。

那云雾深锁的骆谷曾是传递烽火的地方，

大雪覆盖嶓山时，正是围猎校阅的时光。

Once I followed the western expedition's host of a hundred thousand men,

Now white-haired, looking back, I find nothing but sorrow and pain.

Where beacon fires were passed through deep-clouded Luogu Valley,

And hunts were held when heavy snow cloaked Mount Bo's terrain.
