A fresh breeze gathers force, returning to its prime.
Thick clouds shroud the sun and moon from sight,
A heavy rain brings wind and thunder in its might.
The aged tree cannot itself defend,

Yet I worry more when new geese arrive,
For twilight years can scarce this haste survive.
