婢女在学习烧糠做饭。
生活贫苦，任凭青春时光流逝，
闲居之中才明白白昼是如此漫长。
并非我生性偏爱疏懒，
只是无事可做，反倒成就了另一种忙碌。

From the kitchen drift scents of bamboo shoots and bean curd more.
The young servant is tasked to hoe the vegetable bed,
The maid learns to burn chaff, by the stove she is led.
In poverty, I let my youthful days pass by,

It's not that I love idleness and sloth so dear,
