秋日的景象已变得凄清惨淡。
柳树稀疏，蝉鸣声急切嘈杂，
雨水沉重，喜鹊低低地飞翔。
小草在池塘边仿佛学着生长，
新写的诗句题满了竹枝。
如果让车马喧嚣到达此地，
哪里还能有幽静的居所呢？

Through the wild thicket, the village garden I trace,
Autumn's visage has turned to a mournful state.
Sparse willows, cicadas' urgent cries fill the space,
Heavy rain, magpies fly low, bearing their weight.
By the pond, tiny grasses learn to grow anew,
Fresh poems cover the bamboo, inscribed in view.
If carriages and horses were to come here too,
Where then could a secluded dwelling be in view?
