野塘上的桥已损坏，雨色昏昏沉沉。
木槿篱笆护着药草，才容一条小径通过；
竹筒分引泉水，自然流遍全村。
归家的计划未成，留下也好；
愁肠不必再萦绕吴门。

Hastily dealing with documents is unbearable to discuss;
Lodging out temporarily eases the soul of a long-time wanderer.
Oxen tread the paddy ridges, the mud splashing wetly;
The bridge over the wild pond is broken, the rain dim and drear.
A hibiscus fence protects herbs, barely allowing a path through;
Bamboo pipes divide the spring, reaching every village on their own.
My plan to return home not yet settled, staying is also fine;
No need for anxious thoughts to linger around the Wu Gate.
