碧绿的光芒新近跨越了长桥，
免得让游客隔岸互相招手呼叫。
想象中蓬莱、瀛洲仙山如今仿佛就在眼前，
再三叮嘱风雨莫要动摇摧残这桥的坚牢。
稍稍平息了水中蛟蜃兴风作浪的旧日气性，
才显露彩虹一半的腰身，景象妖娆。
明月洒满天空，天宇澄澈如水，
简直让人怀疑通往银河的道路并不算遥。

A new bridge of jade light spans the river wide,
So travelers need not wave from the other side.
It seems like Penglai and Yingzhou, fairy isles in view,
I pray the wind and rain be gentle, hold it firm and true.
The river's monstrous airs are calmed, its old vigor tamed,
Half of a rainbow's waist in the sunlight is now claimed.
The bright moon floods the sky, the sky like water clear,
I doubt not the road to heaven is actually near.
