报效国家的赤胆忠心壮烈，
传承家风的清白节操高洁。
下葬时没有金碗陪送，
庭院中却有玉棺来迎（意指天降祥瑞或誉其清廉）。
红色的帐幕下宾客散去，
青囊卜定的墓穴已经建成。
只剩下原野上空的明月，
还像旧时一样明亮。

Your loyal heart for the state was bold and bright,
The pure integrity passed down in your family's light.
No golden bowl was buried to mark your final rest,
But a jade coffin welcomed you, by your kin addressed.
The red feast tent saw guests and friends depart,
The blue diviner's bag settled your burial's chart.
Only the moon above the plain remains,
Shining as it did in bygone days, with unchanged strains.
