这一带以地下的珍宝闻名，
家家户户都夸耀房屋雄伟宽敞。
为何像我这样身居茅庐的士人，
在贫贱中如何能安身立命、修养心性？

Pacing, I lodge my heart's appreciation in this ground.
Deep are the grand mansions, towering and vast,
Where even a cough echoes, and its sound will last.
This land is cherished for treasures it does hold,
Each house boasts of its splendor, magnificent and bold.
But how can a scholar in his humble shed,
Endure poverty and lowly life ahead?
