火星闪烁，招惹着野草，
随风传来烈烈的声响。
火势想要蔓延到横涧对岸，却忽然中断，
忽而又在晚风中明亮地燃起。
它跳跃前进，没有潜藏的踪迹，
在茂密的草丛中，有愤怒的生命在生长。
还剩下飞散的、温热的灰烬，
正好用来培土，准备春耕。

A flickering flame dances with the grass,
A roaring sound follows the wind's fierce pass.
It threatens to leap across the ravine's gap,
Then suddenly flares bright in the evening's lap.
It leaps and bounds, leaving no hidden trace,
A furious life in tangled growth finds place.
Warm flying embers still remain behind,
To nurture soil for spring ploughing of the kind.
