渔翁划着一叶扁舟，终老于这清澈的江波之上，
幼小的孩子刚学说话，就已经能唱渔歌。
日暮时分，沙洲边寒意袭人，他点燃竹子取暖，
雨停之后，蓑衣凌乱地堆放在船角。
卖掉剩下的小鱼，他依然留一些给自己做成鱼脍，
在这茫茫的湖海之间，他沉醉于自己的乡土梦境里。
夜深时，酒后的口渴让他掬起寒凉的流水漱口，
月光照耀着芦花，影子洒落在蓬船的背顶。

An old fisherman rows his boat on the clear waves,
His young child, learning to speak, can already sing fishing songs.
At dusk, by the sandy shore, he warms himself by a bamboo fire,
After rain, raincoats lie piled in disarray at the corner of the boat.
He sells the leftover small fish, yet still slices some for himself,
Amidst the vast expanse of lakes and seas, he dwells in a land of drunken dreams.
Late at night, thirsty from wine, he rinses his mouth with the cold stream,
The moonlight shines on reed flowers, casting them upon the thatched boat's back.
