驿使何曾寄来岭南的梅花？
在古藤花下，我独自徘徊片刻。
不知名的奇异果实自然长成树木，
没有文字的残碑大半已生满苔藓。
树梢的山鸡知晓白昼与黑夜，
江心的仙岛却缺少楼台点缀。
滩神凭借险要地势建起的庙宇已成遗迹，
笑问自己究竟为何来到此地。

Has the courier ever brought plum blossoms from the southern ridge?
Beneath ancient wisteria flowers, I linger for a while.
Nameless exotic fruits grow into trees on their own,
Half of the wordless broken stele is covered in moss.
The mountain pheasant atop the tree knows dawn from dusk,
The fairy isle in the river's heart lacks towers and terraces.
The river-god, relying on the perilous rapids, built a temple now left in ruins,
Smiling, I wonder what brought me to this place.
