西王母宫殿前是西王母的瑶池，
池水清澈光滑，如同倾泻的玻璃。
池岸托举着华美的宝座，蕴含着祥瑞之气，
池影映上仙衣，润泽了彩霓。
灵液的源头来自海中的山谷，
飘落的花瓣随流水泛出桃花溪。
羽车凤盖杳无音讯，
只有寒月沉沉，西沉在宝殿之西。

Before the Queen Mother's palace lies the Queen Mother's pool,
Its waters clear and smooth as glass, a gleaming, liquid jewel.
The banks uphold her throne's fine seat, imbued with auspicious air,
Its reflection moistens her immortal robe with rainbow's glare.
The magic spring finds its source deep within the ocean's vale,
Floating petals follow the stream out from the Peach Blossom Trail.
No news of her phoenix-canopied chariot with feathered grace,
Only the cold moon sinks silently west of the hallowed place.
