生平以书为伴，书卷堆满案头，
乐事在于饮酒，杯中常满美酒。
墙边倚靠着助他支撑衰弱身躯的手杖，
窗上还留着他为抒发兴致而题写的诗。
他的人如今在哪里呢？
只见灵幡已从稀疏的篱笆间移出。

A mentor to the younger scholars in our town.
His life was books that piled around his desk,
His joy was wine that filled his cup to the brim.
Against the wall, a staff to aid his frail frame,
Upon the window, poems left to vent his heart.
Where is the man now? Alas, he is no more—
Only a funeral banner shows beyond the sparse fence.
